DIY*ADHD for Teachers: Beyond the Basics

DIY*ADHD for Teachers will help teachers learn how the context they create in their classrooms impact ADHD brains, and how to shift gears to increase engagement and get the best outcomes from the ADHD brains in their classes.

  1. Understand why learning about ADHD in classrooms matters,
  2. How to discern the different experiences between genders,
  3. Apply neuro-inclusive and targeted strategies to support neurodivergent learning, and
  4. How to model and create healthy co-regulation in the classroom.

Participants will come away with a deeper and more nuanced understanding of how varied the presentation of ADHD can be across grade levels, and be confident in applying a neuro-inclusive approach to their lesson planning and classroom management.

Creator of The Dig Deeper School

I'm Christina Crowe

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a dark blue shirt and blue jeans, sits comfortably on a light-colored armchair, smiling at the camera—capturing the warmth of a keynote speaker mental health advocate against a dark, blurred background.

In 2016, I launched the pioneering DIY*ADHD online course, laying the groundwork for The Dig Deeper School.

For almost a decade, my professional interests have been dedicated to working with adults with ADHD, especially those diagnosed later in life, couples dealing with ADHD-related challenges, and parents exploring alternative support strategies.

As an Ontario Validated Clinical Supervisor, I’ve been training new and experienced therapists on ‘ADHD-Adapted Psychotherapy’ since 2016.

The neurodivergent-affirming lens emphasizes the importance of understanding ADHD’s nuances, often misunderstood and misrepresented in the media.

While anyone can enrol in our courses, these courses are designed to enhance both self-advocacy for everyday people with ADHD, and enhance care delivery for professionals.

For professionals to record Continuing Education hours, we offer a certificate of completion upon receiving your evaluation and feedback.

Thank you!
